Line of Demarcation
The Line of Demarcation (LOD™) is a clear indicator of the boundaries put in place by its controlling authority. The multi-colored barrier in conjunction with lights, and signs easily reflect define limited area access to the vessel operator.
The LOD™ is a clearly visible indicator to a vessel operator of where his vessel is not permitted to enter. Along with the proper signage, the LOD™ can create a boundary where the rules of engagement authorizing the use of deadly force can be implemented.
The backbone of the system is made up of WhisprWave® polyethylene modules and stainless steel cables encased in synthetic rubber tubing, the same basic materials that make up the Security Barriers.
The WhisprWave® materials have had no negative impact on the environment and has been accepted by the most stringent governing agencies where installed.
